STORY: Israel has one of the most developed research and implementation of advanced water and energy technologies. As every year it hosted the International Clean Tech exhibition. [Gideon Ezra, Israeli Environmental Protection Minister]: "Israel is a country that's been short of water and energy for a long time. While other countries didn't have such problems, Israel had to invent technologies to solve these problems. For example, today, Israel is recycling 70% of its sewage water. That is more than any other country in the world." CleanTech 2008 emphasizes "green building", water, new energy technologies, and recycling.
